Held every year, the Special Olympics World Summer Games is a multi-sport that showcases incredible athleticism from people of determination.
Taking place from 14-21 March in the UAE, the 2019 edition will see the participation of over 7,000 athletes from a record-breaking 192 countries.
Athletes from around the world – from Palestine and Macau to Botswana and Argentina – will go head-to-head in exciting competition.
Some of the events will take place in two venues in Dubai: Dubai Police Stadium will host an athletics event, while Hamdan Sports Complex will be the venue for a swimming meet.
