The Saudi Arabian Football Federation is on the verge of firing Roberto Mancini, as per La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The decision has already been made, and it won't be long before it is announced officially.

Saudi Arabia are at risk of failing to qualify to the 2026 World Cup following a run of poor results in the qualifiers under the Italian manager.

The Saudis are in contact with their former boss Herve Renard, who is currently a free agent.

Corinthians coach Ramon Diaz, and Real Madrid icon Zinedine Zidane are also being linked with the job.

Mancini's deal with the Saudi football federation runs until 2027.
