Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah insists he is only focused on enjoying the remainder of his contract.

The Egypt international's deal with the Reds is set to expire in the summer of 2025, with no talks yet about a possible extension.

The club turned down a staggering £150 million offer from Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad for the 32-year-old last year, as they were keen on keeping him until the end of his deal due to his unrivaled contributions.

The winger spoke to Sky Sports, and said in regard to his future: "Before the season, I was just like 'I've got one year left, let's just enjoy it and don't think about the contract'.

"I don't want to think about next year or the future, I just want to enjoy the last year (of my contract) and let's see.

"The most important thing is to take one day at a time and just be grateful to be here."

Salah had an impressive start to the new season, having already scored twice in his first two appearances in the Premier League under new boss Arne Slot.
