Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly in favor of hiring Zinedine Zidane amid increasing pressure on current team coach Luis Castro.

The Saudi Pro League side has invested heavily in the past couple of years, and brought in high-profile stars such as Sadio Mane, Aymeric Laporte, Marcelo Brozovic along with Ronaldo.

However, the team is yet to win any titles.

The Portuguese icon has gained considerable influence within the club, and is said to favor the acquisition of his previous boss at Real Madrid.

Zidane was approached in the past by the Saudis. However, the 52-year-old remains focused on having a go at coaching the French national team.

Al-Nassr drew their first game and won the second in the new 2024-25 SPL season, and are two points behind leaders Al-Qadsiah.
