The former Manchester United star was booked for a bad foul on Slovakia's goalkeeper Martin Dubravka in a UEFA Euro 2024 qualifier on Friday.
Portugal is set to face Luxembourg on Monday without the 38-year-old who picked up a suspension via a yellow card he received and was fortunate not to have been sent off.
Ronaldo is set to lead Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League on Saturday when they take on Al-Raed.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has scored six goals in five matches far for the Riyadh-based club this season thus far.
