Egypt and Roma winger Mohamed Salah will miss The Wolves' squad in their crucial upcoming game against AC Milan on the 19th match day of the Italy Serie A on Saturday due to a thigh injury.
The Egyptian international, who recovered from an ankle ligament injury last month, sustained a thigh injury during the 3-3 draw with Chievo Verona on Wednesday.
He was replaced with Lorenzo Di Livio nine minutes past the hour mark after being injured.
Roma coach Rudi Garcia has expressed his disappointment at Salah's injury after the Verona draw, confirming he has fewer options without the Egyptian star.
"We have another game on Saturday and we have to focus on that now. We'll get some players back. There are two returning from suspension and hopefully we won't be without Mohamed Salah for too long," Garcia was quoted as saying on the club's official website.
"We have fewer options without Salah," the Roma coach added.
Salah, who joined Roma from English champions Chelsea in the summer, has not found the net since scoring in a 2-1 win over his former club Fiorentina, where he spent the second half of last season on loan, in October.
The 23-year-old has scored five Serie A goals and one UEFA Champions League goal so far this season.
Roma, who are fifth in the Serie A table with 33 points, five behind leaders Fiorentina, are scheduled to face AC Milan on Saturday on the 19th match day.
