Real Madrid announced on Monday that Kylian Mbappe has completed his long-awaited move from Paris Saint-Germain.

The 25-year-old signed a five-year deal with the Spanish heavyweights.

The Madrid-based side announced the transfer in an official statement: "Real Madrid C.F. and Kylian Mbappe have reached an agreement whereby he will be a Real Madrid player for the next five seasons."

Mbappe was heavily linked with Los Blancos in the past, but a move never materialized.

However, the Frenchman is now expected to become Real Madrid's highest-paid player, as he will reportedly earn €15m per year.
