Real Madrid are pondering a move for Tottenham Hotspur defender Cristian Romero in January.

The Spanish giants have been lost several key players due to injury this season for extended periods of time, specifically in defence.

They are now ready to enter the winter transfer market to bolster their squad, and have shown interest in Romero, according to Caughtoffside.

The 26-year-old, who is tied to Spurs until 2027 is valued at €65 million, as per Transfermarkt.

Everton's Jarrard Branthwaite is also being considered by Real Madrid.
