Paris Saint-German are hoping to fend off interest in Moroccan star Achraf Hakimi, according to Le Parisien.

The 25-year-old is being targeted by his former club Real Madrid along with Manchester City.

Therefore, PSG have begun their attempts to secure his services in a new deal.

The Morocco international's current contract runs until the summer of 2026.

The French giants paid €68 million to bring in Hakimi from Inter Milan in 2021.

He has four goals and five assists in 30 appearances for PSG across all competitions.
