Paris Saint-Germain have made Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes their primary target in the January transfer window.

However, signing the Brazil international will not be easy, as reported by ESPN.

Guimaraes is a key figure at Newcastle and is relied heavily upon by Eddie Howe.

He has made 28 appearances this campaign across all competitions.

The 26-year-old's deal runs until the summer of 2028, and is currently valued at €85 million, according to Transfermarkt.

PSG are hoping to bring in reinforcements in the coming days ahead of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie against Real Sociedad.
