Paris Saint-Germain feel confident they can get Newcastle United's star midfielder Bruno Guimaraes who has a £100 million release clause.

Newcastle are battling to comply with the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules and may be forced to sacrifice the Brazilian.

The 26-year-old is being chased across Europe, as reported by The Mirror, with PSG leading the race for his signature.

Guimaraes moved to Newcastle in January of 2022 from Lyon and put pen to paper on a four-and-a-half-year deal for a reported fee of up to £40 million.

He went on to sign a new five-year contract on 7 October 2023 that ties him to the Magpies until the summer of 2028.
