Arsenal v Manchester City: Projected lineups in crucial match for Gunners

The sentiment that the English Premier League title is on the table for Manchester City to loose is almost an understatement as the Citizens have such an advantage with their games in hand.

However, Arsenal look to earn a vital three points to their top four campaign hopes as they entertain the Manchester side ahead of Saturday's battle.

Mesut Özil, Aaron Ramsey, Theo Walcott, Laurent Koscielny and Jack Wilshere all remain definitely out for Arsene Wenger as his issues in the squad continue to frustrate.

Thomas Vermaelen was called to step up and earn his place back in the club and is drastically needed to come up big against City.

Namanja Nastasic, Sergio Aguero and Micah Richards all remain sidelined for City while David Silva is still an injury doubt and could be a game time decision.

Arsenal XI: Szezesny: Sagna, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Gibbs; Arteta, Flamini; Rosicky, Cazorla, Podolski; Giroud.

Citizens XI: Hart: Zabaleta, Kompany, Demichelis, Clichy; Fernandinho, Toure; Navas, Silva, Nasri; Dzeko.
