Uruguayan journalist and writer Victor Hugo Morales claimed on his Twitter account on Monday that Argentina's legendary football player Diego Maradona will run for the FIFA presidency.
"Maradona told me that he will run for FIFA Presidency and he assigned me to announce it,” Morales said.
The President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro said earlier in June that the former Argentine star will be up for the elections and he will be supporting him.
