Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has jokingly said that he hoped that star striker Carlos Tevez is stopped by the police every day after watching him hit a FA Cup hat-trick.
Tevez, who was arrested by the police for driving while disqualified, had bagged a treble and set up the other two for David Silva and Aleksandar Kolarov as City strolled into the Wembley semi-finals, the Sun reports.
According to Mancini, the Argentinian's arrest had a spectacular effect on him as it resulted in him scoring the hat-trick.
Mancini joked that police stopped him every day if it meant that he will score three goals in every subsequent match. (ANI)
