Manchester City are considering buying back Chelsea's star midfielder Cole Palmer, according to Voetbal24.

The England international left City in September 2023 to join the Blues for a reported fee of £40 million with £2.5m in add-ons.

The Premier League giants are preparing for life after Kevin de Bruyne, who could be leaving for Al-Nassr next year, and see Palmer as a proper replacement.

The 22-year-old attacking midfielder just signed a new deal that should keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2033, but he could be tempted to return home to the Cityzens.

Manchester City are also willing to spend big to ensure the return of their former prospect, and are reportedly ready to pay around £125m to seal the deal.
