Lebanese Sports Delegation Arrives In Baghdad

Lebanese Minister of Youth and Sports Mohammed Fneish arrived in Baghdad yesterday evening accompanied by a delegation comprising the heads of the Lebanese Olympic Committee and the Football Federation on an official visit to Iraq.

A ministry statement said "The delegation will meet with the Iraqi Minister of Youth and Sports Abdul Hussein Abtan and will discuss with him the strengthening of relations of cooperation between Iraq and Lebanon in the fields of youth and sports, in addition to signing agreements that serve youth and athletes of both countries."

"The delegation will meet with the president and members of the executive office of the Iraqi National Olympic Committee and the president and members of the Football Association," the statement added.
