Ivanovic drops out of WTA top 10

Ana Ivanovic fell from seventh to 12th place in the latest women's tennis rankings issued on Monday, helping Angelique Kerber and Carla Suarez Navarro back into the top 10.

Ivanovic lost points from her 2014 title in Tokyo in the 52-week rankings, as this year's edition started on Monday, a week later than the previous edition.

Kerber rose from 11 to nine and Suarez Navarro from 12 to 10 in the rankings headed by Serena Williams (11,501) ahead of Simona Halep (6,780) and Maria Sharapova (5,795).
