Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton in a Mercedes claims pole position for Sunday's Bahrain Grand Prix.
It is the fourth successive pole of the season for Hamilton and his first in Bahrain after seven previous attempts.
Hamilton, who has won two of the season's first three races, was 0.411 seconds ahead of Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel.
Hamilton's teammate Nico Rosberg was third, 0.558 seconds behind Hamilton, with Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen fourth. The Williams duo Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa were fifth and sixth respectively.
