Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola revealed that Juventus never really tried to hire him as manager.
The former Roma and Brescia midfielder was asked while in Italy if he was contacted by the Serie A giants over a possible role at the club.
However, the Spaniard replied by saying as quoted by Tribal Football: "They never looked at me.
"In Italy the food is very, very good, I always like it a lot. I often come here on holiday."
"When I started playing football, Serie A was the strongest league, Sacchi's Milan, Juventus."
Manchester City suffered a tormenting 1-0 loss on Sunday at the hands of Arsenal in the Premier League.
They are now in third place just two points behind Tottenham and Arsenal.
