Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has signed a one-year contract extension and expressed his delight over the deal on Twitter.
He said that he is living his dream of working with the club for the next season.
Ferdinand, whose contract was due to expire this summer, signed the deal to play under new United manager David Moyes, The Mirror reports.
Ferdinand said he felt happy to continue with a great team and to play in front of 75,000 fans each week.
He said that he has enjoyed his tenure with the club so far and will want to focus on his career at the club under Moyes and win several more trophies.
