Manchester United defender Patrice Evra has said his teammates can stop thinking about winning the title until and unless they swiftly bring back their real Man United face.

The Red Devils would leave for Romania on Monday to face FC Cluj in their second game of the Champions League group stage on the back of a shock home loss against Tottenham Spurs, and Evra believes they can't afford any more slip ups.

"We put on the Man United face only in the second half against Spurs and this is not enough if we're to win the title," the Sun quoted Evra, as saying.

"We must make sure in the Champions League and away at Newcastle we are back to the winning mentality we showed in the second half. That's why I say the problem was inside our heads. It was not tactics, it was not tiredness," he added.

"Two defeats is too much if you want to win the title. But we must try to be positive as well. We won at Anfield when they played much better than us. We must forget that first half against Spurs," he said.

Evra added: "I hope it was just an accident. We were not good enough in the first half and that is what is painful." (ANI)
