Chelsea come off of a frustrating draw with Arsenal on Monday night as the Blues failed to take three points and go joint top with Liverpool.
However, the Blues have their chances against the Reds at the weekend but first they must get past visiting Swansea City on Boxing Day.
Jose Mourinho is expected to rotate his squad as to keep his top stars healthy for the weekend and could welcome Samuel Eto’o and Juan Mata back to the starting 11.
Swansea looked like they had done enough to earn a home draw against Everton on Sunday evening, but the Toffees managed to impressive goals to negate the own goal equalizer they had taken from young Daniel Oviedo.
With Michel Vorm, Nathan Dyer and Michu all still absent from the first team, the Swans will have to continue to fight for anything they can get but the Blues look too formidable at home.
