Bahrain Granted Major Award by IMMAF

The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) has granted Bahrain a major award in recognition of its success in hosting and holding the International Combat Brave Week 2019.

This came as the Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation (BMMAF) was presented with the “Host Federation of the Year” Award during IMMAF’s 2020 Amateur MMA Awards.

BMMAF President, Mohammed Ali Qambar, extended sincere congratulations to the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, for the exploit that adds to Bahrain’s rich record of achievement.

He asserted that the prestigious award is the fruitful outcome of Shaikh Khalid’s unwavering support for the mixed martial arts sport in the kingdom.

Qambar also congratulated the Chairman of the Bahrain Combat Sports Council (BCSC), Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, stressing that the BCSC’s support has contributed to attaining such an international award.

He indicated that the International Combat Brave Week 2019 had succeeded thanks to the sound directives of Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad and the close follow-up of Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed.
