Ruben Amorim is set to remain at Sporting CP, despite being linked with taking over at Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp will be leaving the Reds at the end of the season, with reports suggesting he will be replaced by the Portuguese boss.

West Ham were also interested in Amorim, with doubts being raised over the future of David Moyes.

However, Portuguese outlet Record revealed that the 39-year-old won't be joining either of the Premier League sides, as he seems poised to remain at Sporting.

Both clubs will have to look at other available options.
