No Worries for limb-less man touring Oman.
Nick was born into this world with no arms and no legs. The unlucky victim of a rare medical condition called Phocomelia, his birth was quite naturally a terrible shock to his parents.
But rather than giving up they drove their little boy to learn to live with his disabilities, after all, he really didnt know any better himself. Soon, little Nick had learnt to swim and with the help of a special device designed by his mother he began to write and type as well. Nicks story is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. Sure, there were moments of great anguish and gloom but bigger than all of that were the hopes and dreams. Today, at 27 years of age, Nick plays football, golf, swims, surfs, types, writes and does much more. While for some activities he uses the small foot on his left hip, for others he uses his mouth and chin. There is much more to his story but its best to hear it from him.
Nick Vujicic is coming to Muscat to tell it. Having already toured over 25 countries, Nick has delivered his message to help thousands realise that with a positive approach there are no limits to life. Brought to Muscat by Reflections he will let us into his world and show us how the lessons learnt there are universal. Nick says, We utilise the concept of positive thinking and incorporate it into the work environment. We have created a refreshing view on how to define goals, envision success and make choices that which leads to victory. Schools benefit from our unique appeal. We bring to light the fact that everyone has potential and that the educational process can be fulfilling.
