The World Celebrates Easter Amid Lockdown

Christians are celebrating Easter, which is a festival and holiday commemorating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, described in the New Testament as having occurred on the third day after his burial following his crucifixion by the Romans at Calvary.

Despite the fact that the east and the west celebrate in a different dates. However, this year they had common celebration amid lockdown over coronavirus pandemic as global cases passed 2.3 million yesterday according to Johns Hopkins University.

Moreover, the data shows the global number of deaths over coronavirus reached 158,422, while total recoveries stand at 589,576.
