The US House of Representatives has decided yesterday, December 18th, 2019, to impeach the President Donald Trump, so he became the third American President to be impeached.

The two articles of impeachment, abuse of power and obstruction of Congress, are set now to be sent to the Senate, where they will be tried.

US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi revealed after the impeachment that "Dec. 18, a great day for the Constitution of the United States, a sad one for America that the president's reckless activities necessitated our having to introduce articles of impeachment".

On the other hand, in New York City, thousands marched through Times Square with a giant banner inscribed with Article II, Section 4, of the Constitution that concerns impeachment.
