While newcomers noted that job opportunities are not fantastic, they affirm that Malaga supports a balance between life and work.

Expats in Alicante express a sense of belonging, reporting high levels of happiness with their social lives. The city's allure extends beyond social circles, as the cost of living does not appear to curtail their lifestyle. Alicante proudly ranks 3rd in the personal finance index. A significant majority of expats (78 percent) express satisfaction with the overall cost of living, a notable contrast to the global average of only 44 percent.
