Thousands Protest Against Alabama's Abortion Law in The US

Published May 21st, 2019 - 06:13 GMT

Last week, Alabama approved a strict abortion law, which is likely to make abortion illegal in virtually all cases, including cases of rape and incest.

Thousands of people gathered around the southern US state of Alabama, Sunday, to reject one the nation's most restrictive bans on abortions in years.

Over 50 organizations, including the American Civil Liberties Union and NARAL Pro-Choice America, are likely to take part in several other rallies across the country.
