Jordanian Rescue Teams Continue Saving Operations

At least 5 people were killed and 14 others were injured in a building collapse in Jabal Weibdeh in Amman, Jordan. A 4-story building collapsed on Tuesday afternoon; rescue teams rushed immediately to the site to save people who are stuck inside.

Rescuers are battling time to save more people who are still locked inside the ruins of Amman's Jabal Luweibdeh neighbourhood after the building collapse, Public Security Directorate (PSD) media spokesperson said.

Yesterday, Jordanian PM Bisher Al Khasawneh arrived to the building collapse site along with other authorities and asked to open an investigation to investigate the reasons behind the collapse.
