Jordan Archaeological Museum Inside Out

The Jordan Archaeological Museum is located in the Amman Citadel in the heart of the Jordanian capital, majestically looking the downtown area. The Museum was Established in 1951 and has artifacts from the many archaeological sites in the Kingdom, starting from prehistoric times to the 15th century. The Citadle itself can be traced to 7000 years back so there is a lot of history. Another branch of the museum was established in East Jerusalem. Here is a sneak preview on the contents of the museum and its sournoundings.
