Hundreds of Egyptian Coptic Christians gathered Saturday for a funeral service south of Cairo to bid farewell to people killed in an attack.
The attackers opened fire on the bus of pilgrims in Minya province after the occupants had visited the Saint Samuel monastery.
Gunmen killed at least 7 people, all Coptic Christians, in a bus headed toward a monastery. Another 14 people were wounded. The attack took place close to where gunmen killed 28 Coptic Christians last year.
Mourners expressed grief and anger as they left Prince Tadros church in the city of Minya, where the bodies of six victims lay in white coffins.
