7 Arab legends for Brad Pitt to fall for next – like Clooney did

While the world mourns and scorns the death of Brangelina’s marriage, we at Al Bawaba were quick to play matchmakers by fishing out the most promising Arab bachelorettes that we see jostling for the prize -- that once so enviable Hollywood hunk  (don't impress me –– much?) Brad Pitt.

Brad’s close buddy George Clooney may have been “very sorry” to hear about the split of Hollywood’s golden couple, but we were quick to think: now that Pitt’s back on the market, surely George can convince him that Arab is best? He is married to the accomplished and impeccably stylish Lebanese human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin after all.

We know Brad is the perennial pick for “Sexiest Man Alive,” but surely even he can’t resist those gorgeous and à la mode, seductive and successful, and most ambitious Arab ladies? And how awesome would it be if we were blessed with a special edition of the Bachelor starring Brad Pitt? Who do you think, of these fine fair Middle Eastern personalities – from socialite to royal to celeb – will get the final rose and that to-die-for engagement ring?

Who's better suited for our Hollywood royal than Saudi Princess Ameera Al Taweel? Just like Angie, Ameera is an activist, who has been outspoken about her work for women's rights in KSA. The backlash from the royal family in part led to her divorce from Prince Al Waleed. Maybe the silver lining to her divorce is finding her forever after with Brad?

Kuwaiti fashionista Fouz Alanzi is a head-turner. The stylish diva recently collaborated with beauty mogul Sephora on many social media projects. Fouz's locks are so gorgeous we’re suspecting that Beyonce’s “Becky with the good hair” reference was about her! This beauty is the perfect playmate for our Hollywood hottie, don’t you think?

As the first Emirati woman to achieve a successful filmmaking career and the proud owner of the production company “D-SEVEN motion pictures,” Nayla Al Khaja is no stranger to the red carpet and would fit right in Brad’s world. With Nayla, Brad will hit the jackpot, as she could produce his next movie (filmed in the ME of course)!

Lebanese journalist Rima Maktabi is a great rebound for Brad - she knows “love is a battlefield”! The former host of CNN’s Inside the Middle East, who covered notable events like the beginning of the Arab uprisings in Tunisia and Egypt, and the ongoing Syrian civil war, will no doubt give Brad the positive image boost he desperately needs.

Lebanese singer Najwa Karam would be the ideal significant other for Brad. Together they can enjoy Najwa’s culinary skills - especially her famous kibbeh - over a double dinner date with Brad’s bestie George Clooney and his Lebanese wife Amal Alamuddin. The men can talk movies, the ladies can talk fashion and Lebanese politics!

A shoulder to cry on? Egyptian TV presenter Wafaa Kilani is going through a quiet-but-ugly divorce herself, so she can relate to the needs of bruised Brad. Wafaa’s aura of strength, attitude, and elegance - combined with Pitt’s PR prowess - means they could become Hollywood’s newest power couple.

When Iman Mutlaq, CEO of Amman-based multinational Sigma Investments, isn’t managing a billion dollar portfolio, you'll find her leading projects for women with an NGO based in war-torn Iraq. She says her “self-discovery journey” into meditation has awakened her social responsibility. Will this role model be to Brad what Amal is to George?
