Despite everything Palestinians went through from living under an unjust occupation that hinders them from living a normal life every single day, Palestinians refuse but to resist by all means of resistance including being innovative, creative and bringing beauty and hope despite the darkness of occupation. Everyday a new talent is born in Palestine just to prove to the world that Palestine’s soul is still alive and will continue to teach the world life. 

Here are 10 brands made by creative Palestinian artists:

1. N U R N E I: Designed and handcrafted in Kavala, Greece, the coin collection features replicas of antique coins originating from Palestine. Designer Noor curated her debut collection with inspiration from natural elements and historic artefacts collected over the years that reflect great sentimental value.

2. Anat International

2. Anat International: It is a genderless slow-fashion streetwear brand handmade in Gaza, Palestine and available for people everywhere.

3. Holy Land

3. Holy Land: If you are looking for the highest quality handcrafted fashion and embroidery, then you will find this one-of-a-kind online store where every piece of it gives you an authentic experience based on true historical stories and traditions.

4. Jeel design

4. Jeel design: is a multidisciplinary design house that specialises in old Palestinian embroidery with a 1970s aesthetic. A team of in-house and external designers and artists create modern pieces that express history. This includes accessories, furniture and artwork.

5. n n b y ٓn n: It is a Palestinian ready-to-wear label foundedn and based in Jerusalem by designer Angham Khalil in 2019. It merges Khalil’s creative background and education with the roots of her homeland and the nostalgia she feels for it.

6. Hilweh Market: It is a local artisanal boutique featuring handmade homeware, textiles and other items from Palestine and the Arab world.

7. Darzah

7. Darzah: This Palestinian brand began with a mission to empower women in the West Bank. It works with 26 female artisans and other partners, and all of the products are handmade and fair trade certified, with a major focus on tatreez. There are sandals, pillows, bags, aprons, masks and boots to choose from.

8. Watan

8. Watan: It is a Palestine-inspired arts shop based in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. Officially founded in January 2015, Watan aims to create an additional space for Palestinians to learn about and explore their cultural and intellectual heritage.

9. Hirbawi Keffiyeh Weavery

9. Hirbawi Keffiyeh Weavery: Hirbawi is the last Palestinian Keffiyeh factory in the Palestinian Territories. Following the signing of the 1993 Oslo Accords that introduced the free-markets policy, Chinese-made Keffiyehs flooded markets and overshadowed sales of Palestine-based manufacturers.
