The flagship 5-star Sheraton property in Dubai, Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel & Towers strengthen its Executive Committee team recently by appointing Ram Gupta as its new Director of Revenue Management. 

Indian-born Ram Gupta is no stranger to Starwood Hotels & Resorts having progressed in his career with the Le Meridien Abu Dhabi and Residences by Le Meridien, UAE before joining Sheraton Dubai Creek. In Abu Dhabi, he started as the Revenue Manager in October 2005 and was promoted to head the department as their Director in November 2007. 

Ram has an extensive experience in Front Office where he started out with Hyatt Regency Delhi and The Regent Mumbai to become the Assistant Front Office Manager before pursuing a career growth with Intercontinental The Grand Mumbai. His passion for revenue management began here as he assumed the Revenue Manager role before heading the Front Office department. 

Ram holds a diploma in Hotel Management from Institute of Hotel Management, India, followed by an Executive Master in Business Administration from HTW Chur in Switzerland. 

As the Director of Revenue Management at the Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel & Towers, Ram is in charge of pricing strategy development and yield management in leading the property to achieve bigger market share and higher penetration in key target markets.
