Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad lauds EQUATE’s environmental role

EQUATE Petrochemical Company’s world-class environmental initiatives received the lauding and appreciation of Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, State Minister for Development and State Minister for Housing Affairs Sheikh Ahmad Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. 

During Sheikh Ahmad’s patronage of “Our Motto is Green” exhibition organized by Environment Public Authority (EPA), EQUATE VP Technical Services Mohammad Al Benali delivered a brief regarding EQUATE’s environmental initiatives, such as the Middle East’s first Plant Water Recycle Project, as well as Kuwait’s first Green Carbon recovery and re-use project. 

Al Benali added that such initiatives are an extension of EQUATE Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program aimed at Kuwait’s overall sustainability through focusing on major issues, such as the environmental, health, education and other relevant fields. 

On his part, Director-General of EPA Dr. Salah Al-Mudh’hi noted EQUATE’s immense contribution to protecting Kuwait’s environment and preserving its natural resources.
