SCA publishes on its website mutual fund and investment management draft regulations

The Emirates Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) has announced that it has posted on its website (www.sca.ae) draft regulations on mutual funds and investment management to enable all concerned parties - institutions and individuals – including researchers to have a first-hand information about the draft regulations, which is in Arabic and English.
As part of its strategy in communicating with its partners on the securities markets, the SCA invites all concerned parties to express their observations concerning the regulations by posting their suggestions in this regard through the following address: [email protected].
Deadline for receiving suggestions is one month from the date of publishing this report.

Emirates Securities and Commodities Authority
On January 29, 2000 HH UAE President issued a federal decree to set up a public authority in the UAE's capital, which was called "Securities and Commodities Authority." The Authority enjoyed a legal entity, financial and administrative independence with the control and executive powers necessary for it to discharge its tasks in line with the provisions of this law and the regulations issued in implementation thereof, noting that the authority reported to the minister.
