Safir International appoints Nabil Hammoud as General Manager of Safir Marina Hotel Kuwait

International Hotel Management, the Kuwait based Middle East Hotel Management Company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Nabil Hammoud as the new General Manager of Safir Marina Hotel in Kuwait. Mr. Hammoud, a veteran hotelier, is very well qualified to be at the helm of this position. He has a wealth of international experience in hospitality management that spans for more than three decades. In addition to being the General Manager, Mr. Hammoud has also been the Group Director of Operations for Safir Hotels & Resorts for the past three years and is responsible for all its operations in six countries. 

Commenting on Mr. Nabil’s appointment, Mr. Helmut Meckelburg, CEO of Safir International Hotel Management said “Nabil’s talent, depth of experience and knowledge of the market will be a tremendous asset to the company. With a degree in Hotel Management from C.E.R.I.A Brussels, Belgium, Mr. Hammoud has previously worked for several well known hotels around the world covering nine countries in four continents along with seventeen years experience in the United States of America. Mr. Hammoud is of Lebanese - American origin and has a flair for languages; apart from his mother-tongue Arabic, he masters English, French, German and manages Spanish. His career included key leadership roles in prestigious hotels throughout Europe, America, North Africa and the Middle East.
