Registration open for Bahraini ICT companies in major international conference

Tamkeen today announced that registration window to participate in “infoComm 2011”, a leading global ICT event, is now open. The event will be held next month from 15 to 17 of June in Florida, USA.
As part of its Growth Assistance Programme, Tamkeen has allocated spaces to allow interested companies to be part of the official US Embassy delegation to the event.
infoComm 2011 is expected to draw over 950 exhibitors and 32,000 visitors, professionals, and experts from across the globe. In addition, around 300 expert-led seminars covering the latest ICT trends and developments, offering Bahraini companies a great platform from which to network with industry leaders and showcase their capabilities in front of a worldwide audience, thus allowing them the opportunity to rise to international prominence.
The deadline for submitting applications is Sunday the 22nd May. This will allow for sufficient assessment and evaluation of each application and arrangement for the necessary travel preparations. The shortlisted applications, which will be evaluated on a first-come first-serve basis, will be appraised based on several factors; namely, having a successful track record locally, financial sustainability, and the potential of the products and services to be marketed and applied internationally.
