Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman and Ramada Downtown Dubai, a premier destination for business and leisure travellers, will participate in the upcoming ITB Berlin Exhibition, an international B2B travel and trade show held in Germany every year. The event is scheduled to take place from March 9 to 13.

With more than 180,000 visitors, among these 111,000 trade visitors, and over 10,000 exhibitors from 180 countries ITB Berlin is the leading B2B-Platform of all tourism industry offers. It provides unique opportunities to benefit from the leading think tank of the global tourism industry. All levels of the value added chain are present: Tour operators, booking engines, destinations, airlines, and hotels, up to car rentals.

Iftikhar Hamdani, Executive Assistant Manager, Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman, will attend the event on behalf of the property. He intends to focus on potential free individual German travelers, incentive groups, and Global Distribution Systems operators. The property wishes to maximize its business partners by getting more active operators from Germany, West Europe and other markets in this trade show. 

“By participating in ITB Berlin we are targeting German tourists with our attractive promotions for the upcoming summer season and contracting for the year 2011-12. Our aim is to increase the leisure segment and the presence of the private beach will attract these visitors from Germany and West Europe. Our property with the largest number of rooms in the emirate is getting a good response from that market through our closer contacts with GDS and the European Tour Operators. Thus our visit to the show will further solidify these good relations with our partners and help us promote tourism in the emirate,” said Hamdani. 

Hamdani added the property is in the process of preparing an aggressive promotional and marketing campaign to attract traffic to the largest property in terms of rooms. As the property offers a range of unique products customers are spoilt for choice and pampered into a state of bliss. Thus the property is all set to sway the world with its exciting range of tour packages such as competitive room rates, tour packages for corporate and leisure travelers, special services for business meetings, conferences and seminars, and a trained staff of travel advisors to answer visitors’ questions. 

Also, during the event, Hamdani will be awarding JT Touristik as the Best Leisure Partner 2010 for Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman. A plaque of recognition will be presented to Mr. Daniel Esavandi, Senior Product Manager.
