The flotilla of ships carrying tons of aid supplies for the Gaza Strip set sail for the Palestinian territory on Sunday. The sailing already has been delayed several times. The ships are expected to reach the area on Monday.
The Israeli military stated the ships will be intercepted before they reach Gaza's coast and towed to the Israeli port of Ashdod.
"The flotilla is together and is on the move," Greta Berlin, spokeswoman for the Free Gaza Movement, was quoted as saying by Reuters.
