Orange Jordan partners with Tkiyet Um Ali to deliver 6,000 meals during Ramadan

In celebration of Ramadan and as part of the company’ continuous charity programs targeting the Kingdom’s less fortunate, Orange Jordan partnered with Tkiyet Um Ali for the second consecutive year to deliver 6,000 meals during the holy month to underprivileged citizens residing in the Eastern Amman area.
Commenting on this initiative, which is being implemented using the meals on wheels concept and with the participation of volunteers from the company, Orange Jordan’s CEO Nayla Khawam said: “Our social and charity programs cover the whole year, however it has a special touch during the holy month of Ramadan as we collaborate with specialized organizations to reach out to the largest number of underprivileged citizens. Through our partnership with Tkiyet Um Ali, we mark 8 successful years of cooperation that fulfilled the needs of different humanitarian causes”.
“The project witnessed remarkable success last year as well as the participation of many volunteers from Orange Jordan.” Khawam pointed out that the success of this initiative along with the other programs launched by Orange Jordan during Ramadan is due to their compliance with the spirit of the holy month.
“Orange Jordan and Tkiyet Um Ali have been collaborating for many years now. The partnership that brings the two parties together represents supporting Tkiyet Um Ali’s projects, which benefit the poor families across the Kingdom,” said Mahmoud Al-Sharif, Tkiyet Um Ali's Director General.
He praised Orange’s cooperation in supporting the initiative of mobile Mawa’ed Al Rahman, which is considered one of the most significant projects in the Middle East aiming to provide underprivileged families with Iftar meals in their own houses.
This partnership highlights Orange Jordan’s proactive role in providing help to needy families across the Kingdom, thus enhancing the concept of social responsibility set by the company as part of its strategy.
