The Kuwaiti crude oil exports to China rose 32.9% during the month of December 2010 to reach 537,000 tons, the equivalent of 127,000 barrels per day. This rise was for the seventh consecutive month.
The Kuwaiti General Administration of Customs said that Kuwait had provided China with 2.6% of its total oil imports, compared to 1.9% during the same period in 2009. The Administration added that Kuwait's total exports of crude oil to China in 2010, reached to US$ 9.83 million tonnes (198,000 barrels per day), up 39% on an annual basis.
