ALBAWABA - Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg spilled the tea about the United States' Biden administration during the COVID-19 pandemic which caused a global emergency.

In a letter to the Committee on the Judiciary of the U.S. House of Representatives, the American businessman claimed that the US government, led by President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, pressured him to censor COVID-19-related content.

He wrote: "In 2021, senior officials from the Biden Administration, including the White House, repeatedly pressured our teams for months to censor certain COVID-19 content, including humor and satire."

Zuckerberg also confirmed that he regrets agreeing with the Biden government in censoring the content on his platform; Facebook. He maintained: "My goal is to be neutral and not play a role one way or another—or to even appear to be playing a role."

According to sources, Facebook removed and restricted over 20 million pieces of content in just over a year.
