ALBAWABA - speculations filled social media that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's son, Yair, is turning on his father amid the deadliest war in Gaza which killed at least 35,857 people since last October.

Since the Al-Aqsa Flood operation carried out by Hamas' Al-Qassam Brigades, Israeli announced harsh attacks on Gaza, killing, and injuring over 115,000 people and displacing millions of Palestinians.

Is Yair Netanyahu turning on his father's Gaza policies and calling for military mutiny?

Yair Netanyahu, an Israeli podcaster and political activist, who is also the eldest son of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu posted a video of a soldier who was threatening a military mutiny in the Israeli army.

In a post on his Telegram, Yair Netanyahu shared the video of an Israeli soldier causing wide controversy about whether the son of the Israeli prime minister is against his father and his policies in the latest war in Gaza.

However, in the clip, the Israeli reservist was not warning Netanyahu, but he was sending a message to the Minister of Defence of Israel Yoav Gallant that the army will not leave Gaza to be governed by Hamas, Fateh or the Palestinian authorities, not they will accept to hand it over to Arab entity.

He added that they will listen to one voice in the Israeli government, which he said was Benjamin Netanyahu alone and he asked Gallant to quit if he is against continuing the war in Gaza and agreeing a ceasefire deal with Hamas.

Israeli government responds to the video:

On Saturday, the Israeli prime minister denounced any form of military disobedience after his son, Yair, published the clip of a soldier threatening not to listen to the orders of military commanders in the Israeli army and to follow the instructions of the Prime Minister alone.

Netanyahu's office denounced in a statement "any idea of disobeying by the soldiers," according to "Israel Hayom" newspaper.

The office also confirmed that Netanyahu "repeatedly warned of the dangers of disobedience and any leniency towards it."
