ALBAWABA - 35-year-old X user Wayne O'Rourke was recently jailed for three years over 'instigating' riots amid the ongoing protests taking place in the UK that erupted due to the recent Southport stabbing incident.

According to the Daily Mail, O'Rourke admitted to making £1,400 a month for sharing his opinions on X during an interview and garnered more than 90,000 followers on the platform. Moreover, he posted many tweets showing support for the ongoing protests in the country.

Additionally, he also advised rioters on how to stay anonymous. In one of his posts, he cited the tragic Southport attack which resulted in the killing of three girls but shared that the attack was conducted by a Muslim which turned out to be false.

The suspect responsible for the stabbing was 17-year-old Axel Rudakubana who was born in Cardiff to Christian parents who immigrated from Rwanda, Africa.

Users on X took to comment sections discussing the issue at hand. Here's what some had to say:

"In no civilized country do people go to jail 4 opinions. Yes, we may detest others’ opinions but we have free will. People who rioted are responsible for rioting."

"The British government is the enemy."

"I think it’s sparking questions about the legitimacy of the UK government. Are there no human rights in the land of the Magna Carta anymore?"
