AlBAWABA - A hashtag going under Boycott Piers Morgan is trending among X users (formerly known as Twitter) calling out the TV presenter for ignoring the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza.
A meme circulated among pro-Palestine users on social media poking fun at the presenter quoting him on his constant question in debates asking pro-Palestine activists if they "condemn Hamas."
Why are pro-Palestine activists calling to boycott Piers Morgan?
A user took to their X account and stated in a post:
"#BoycottPiersMorgan, No idea how he ignores the terror the Israeli military is committing in Palestine, including displacing people and murdering civilians FOR YEARS !! BUT NO Hamas started the attack on Oct,7 🤡 as Tate said your bosses are not allowing you to speak the truth."
Despite Piers's opinion about the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza, he's been one of the few mainstream Western media outlets to give pro-Palestinian activists and celebrities such as Bassem Youssef, Mohammed Hijab, Gabor Maté, and more the time and voice on his show Piers Morgan Uncensored.

Pro-Palestine people around the world have been on the quest to boycott everything that supports the state of Israel from beauty and grocery products to restaurants and cafes in hopes of shaking the Israeli economy.
Morocco succeeded in doing so as chains including McDonald's and Starbucks both closed down recently in all of the country.
On Monday, Dec. 12, 2023, pro-Palestine activists and people worldwide decided to go on a general strike in stance with the people of Gaza by urging others not to buy anything whether it be cash or card, not to use their bank accounts, not to leave their houses, to deactivate Facebook/ Instagram, and to spread awareness through the hashtag mentioned above.
