ALBAWABA - Germany has given Mohammad Hadi Mofatteh, the ex-head of the Islamic Center Hamburg (IZH), two weeks to leave Hamburg, DW reported on Thursday.

The decision comes over a month after the German authorities issued a ban on the organization, a spokesperson for Hamburg's Interior Ministry revealed on Wednesday.

The Interior Ministry in Germany revealed that Mohammad Hadi Mofatteh, 57, was asked to leave the country within 14 days or he would be forced to leave for Iran - his homeland - at his own cost.

Not only he was requested to leave the country, but German authorities banned him from reentering it ever again, and if he ever violated the decision he could face prison.
