ALBAWABA - A newly discovered illegal tunnel discovered by New York's NYPD is taking the internet by storm including X (formerly known as Twitter) with users speculating the reason why they were built by the Jewish community in New York in the first place.
The tunnels in question are located in New York City and were allegedly built for members of Chabad (a Hasidic Jewish sect).
The news came after several videos were shared on X showcasing the inside of the tunnel and the NYPD arresting some of the members inside the underground Jewish temple and was later confirmed that the tunnels were found under the Chabad synagogue in Brooklyn.
Some users on X said that the tunnel was allegedly built to practice Judaism in the Covid pandemic while others claimed that there is a much more sinister reason behind them including a man named Sulaiman Ahmed who said:
"These Zionist tunnels are more intricate than the Hamas tunnels they have been posting" linking the tunnels to the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023.

Many other users shared their concerns and opinions on the matter and said:
"Whatever is happening in these tunnels doesn’t look good at all…"
"2024 is gonna be wild."
According to videos being shared across social media platforms, some users spotted stained mattresses being pulled from the underground tunnels which left them with a valid question; "WHAT were the Jews doing in those tunnels?"
