ALBAWABA - Hassan Nasrallah, leader of Hezbollah, was killed in an Israeli airstrike on Friday, Sept. 27, in Beirut's southern suburb along with other leaders, but was his daughter Zainab also among the people killed?

According to reports, multiple Hezbollah members and commanders were killed in the aggressive Israeli strike targeting six buildings. Iran announced the death of the Revolutionary Guard's Quds Force commander in charge of Lebanon operations, Brigadier General Abbas Niloufarushan, in the same attack that killed Nasrallah.

Israeli media outlets allegedly speculated the death of Hezbollah leader's daughter, Zainab Nasrallah as they claimed she could have been accompanying her father inside the headquarters of Hezbollah in Beirut when the attack happened.

Despite no confirmation or announcement by the Lebanese movement, Israel's Channel 12 allegedly reported her death.

It was not announced, confirmed or denied by any Lebanese sources regarding the fate of Hassan Nasrallah's daughter following the Israeli airstrike on Lebanon.

Despite alleged reports by Israel that Zainab was killed, the daughter of the Hezbollah leader mourned her father's death in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

Zainab Nasrallah appeared in a video and said: "It is heartbreaking to lose our father, leader and beloved one, but you all know what I'm here to say, Sayyed didn't leave before he was assured and relived regarding what he left behind."

She added: "He left behind strong and powerful supporters, people who know how to revenge. This break inside us should be turned into hatred, revenge and victory." "We will enter Palestine and pray in the Al-Aqsa Mosque."

On the other hand, many activists circulated an alleged video and a photo of Hassan Nasrallah's young daughter, Ruqaiya Al-Asr, beside her father's casket, however, many said this could be either fake or old footage.
